803a hours (PHOTOS ADDED!!)
Hello,
I am considering grabbing another 803a with higher hours (over 5000) that looks to be in good shape.
I spoke to someone locally that knows the lister petter well and he has seen this engine go to 25-30k hours.
He said expect or budget to change half the...
Hello,
I have 3 803a with a couple missing pannels, depending on which units are good runners, I may part one out, if they are all good, I plan to make some panels, using aluminum and a break for window capping on your home. Can anyone confirm which gauge of aluminum I should make these out of
Can any cleaning be done via vacuum with generator blocked up at 30 degrees on the inlet at bottom
Will a shop vacuum induce any static electricity that could be a problem to vacuum inside inverter box
Thanks for the clarity! The no fuel fault design seems a bit redundant then!
The engine ran at a very low rpm maybe 1800-1900 and sounded just like the yanmar in our sail boat
Hi guys, back from holiday in NL (they have almost no mains power outages due to buried mains) and I put the governor in today - did the calibration as per GAC website:
http://www.governors-america.com/documents/PIB1007%20A%20SLC100%203%20kW%20Gen%20Set.pdf
Generator runs beautifully now...
Do you guys think I should mess with the factory battery any further? I.e. Use it? I have it AGM trickle charged up to 25v now using the noco 7.2 amp charger. I am worried I killed the original speed controller with trying to use the alternator to charge the low voltage battery.
load sharing & synchronizing
Has anyone tried to run the 831a's sharing a load?
I called to order a governor from GAC today (see my problem thread) and noticed that have a basic load sharing and sync for parallel cable interconnection.
Any thoughts on this...
