Looked at my registration from my title-only transaction and noticed that I have a bunch of late fees too. Going to have to find out how they calculated them. Sure looks like a lot to me. I received my SF-97 in September I believe, but it looks like they are charging a whole lot more than 3...
Wow. Per the video, the Soviets claimed a few dozen people died, but estimates could be as high as 400,000. Quite a large range. I saw the KiddofSpeed site years ago when it first came out, the pics of the radioactive slag are downright creepy.

I went to Lafayette last weekend and was going up University and saw a Deuce sitting at a repair shop right at the corner of University and Cameron (they call it "Four Corners" in Lafayette).
Had to do a double take, I wonder if it is for one of our LA members?

My brother and I were glad to help out, Mike. Fort Polk is only an hour and a half away for me, and Camp Beauregard is maybe an hour. I'm hoping to have more time to do this type of thing in the future.
Now that I have the Deuce nearly road ready, should be able to handle more items...
Anyone know where I can find just the male legs for a Deuce towbar? I have the main sections, but not the legs that slip inside. Will prolly also need an entire set of pins and feet.
When I bought my Deuce in February of this year, I didn't know a whole lot about the process, and ended up waiting 6 months before delivery of the truck.
While I was waiting for the EUC to clear, someone "appropriated" the D Ring shackles on the front bumper. I wasn't happy about it, but I...
Last item I bought was a non-vehicle which required an EUC. It was sent to Battle Creek on Oct. 14.
Haven't heard anything other than that. My only other EUC was for a Deuce with winch that took forever.
The last I had heard, EUC's were being approved on an average of 25 working days, I...
I am having an issue with my VIN as well, so I have been looking for the numbers on the frame. I found some just below the front spring hanger, and am trying to uncover them, but the paint is very thick. These, however, appear to be raised lettering.
Is the lettering stamped into the frame...
Now that hard top would look good on a deuce........namely, mine!!! And I know of someone who is selling dummy guns too! Now all I need is a ring mount and money to buy all this stuff with!

Thanks, Spruce Deuce. As you can see, I have been having a fair amount of trouble getting what I need. Went online with Shelter this evening, I hope to have an agent call me tomorrow.
Need to get this truck rolling!

It's things like this that make me realize how glad I am to live in the countryside, not in an incorporated area.
I keep my yard clean and cut so as not to be a burden to my neighbors, but what I want to put in my driveway is none of their concern.
I guess I just ain't all that social.

The Banana Splits was a Saturday morning program when I was a kid in the late 60's and early 70's. Not a cartoon, it was a bunch of "live puppets" (men in these weird looking suits like in "Where the Wild Things Are").
They ran around everywhere in their neon colored Argo 6 wheelers. I think...
Contacted Geico yesterday and went through all the things they asked about, said they'd get back to me. Got an email just a few minutes ago saying that they "don't have a market for the type of insurance you are requesting."
Really? I requested commercial insurance. Sounds more to me like...
Same here, count me and my brother (screen name: Insurgent) in for next year's rally.
Will soon have "Big Green" on the road legally, and I plan on taking it for some short shakedown cruises. Will probably be making trips to Ft. Polk and Camp Beauregard as well, but the trip to Ponchatoula...
I got a quote from Progressive and it looked real good, but having read this thread before getting the quote, I gave Progressive a call. They transferred me over to their commercial division when I told the guy on the phone that this is a 3 axle truck.
The lady they put me in touch with said...
I would have preferred to have my Deuce insured with State Farm also, since I have 3 other vehicles insured with them, but over $500 for 6 months is steep.
I was quoted a small commercial policy, since I may be using it in connection with a business I am starting up, and don't want to get...
