ok, so ive read plenty of other posts about oil pressure related problems with these trucks, but im not sure mine is an issue yet. looking for help from other people with more experience than me here.
I drove my truck to work one night this past week and watched the gauges the whole trip...
Does anyone have any experience with these? I'm looking at getting one and would like to know a little more about them, other than what the TM says. I'm assuming they are a solid and reliable unit.
Is it possible to make them single phase like you can the older MEP-005A units?
Thanks,
Corey
Thanks for the info guys. I think I will probably just hang on to it for those prices. If im recalling correctly I bought it for somewhere around 200.
Thanks.
Hello everyone,
I bought an OE-254 a few years back with the intentions of one day getting a radio to go with it and have my own base station setup. I'm debating on selling now since I've never gotten around to getting the radio. What would one of these be worth? It is complete with all...
Hello all,
I went and looked at the trucks again at this drill this past weekend.
As it turns out they are in fact the speaker headlights.
They even say speaker in the plastic casting of the housing.
Just FYI.
Thanks,
Corey
Hi,
While I was at drill this past weekend I noticed some very new a different type of LED headlights on one of our hemtt A4 fuelers. We just received 4 new ones straight from oskosh about 2 months ago, so this is very very new to us.
These headlights looked very similar to the 8700 series...
I know that when I looked at the truck before I bought it, it had been recovered from a fire department that had removed the bed and put a crane on the rear. The people I got it from removed the crane and put the normal cargo bed on it, mainly because they couldn't find a drop side bed at the...
Hello all,
I have a question about my deuce. Its a 1970 AM General M35A2 W/W. The data plate reads M35A2C WO/W, so at some point someone removed the drop side cargo bed and it was later replaced with a standard bed.
My question is that does it make the truck worth any more money than...
Thank you very much for the quick responses! Thats pretty much what I was looking for, if it was a kit, or I needed to do anything special to add these features to my truck.
Ive searched for this but havnt been able to find a clear answer.
I have a 1970 M35A2 W/W made by AM General Corp.
It does not have a slave receptical, the place where it should be is just a knockout cover that has never been used.
I would like to add the slave receptical to it. How does one...
Ok, so ive got the decals on it, except for a couple, and the troop seats and bows. cover will come later (maybe tomorrow).

Ill have the decals and troop seats with bows and cargo cover on it soon :driver:
I tried to get the formula for the paint mix, but no dice, ppg hold those cards pretty close to their chest...
Thanks John! Its been a long time in the making for me to get to this point with the truck. It was missing a LOT of parts and needed some TLC. But im here now and painting 8)
Im thinking about getting the paint formula from PPG to post up on here for others to be able to match out if they choose...
I went today with my dad and sandblasted the bed of the truck and put a fresh coat of paint on it. Its a ppg version of the 24084 from aervoe.

Got the decals from delta team decals.
Thanks,
Corey
