Thanks for the picture. We don't have any armored ones and I did remove the turret from one we got with the slant back hard top. That one looks good. I also saw the M113 that Alliance PD obtained. They have been very successful with getting lots of stuff.

Good luck with your aquisition! These are great vehicles for the price. Glad you guys could put one to use and save it from the crusher. We used the 24V emergency equipment in some of our rigs to avoid the power issues. Thinking about the converter for the last one.

Yes, the turret tops all leak....like a faucet sometimes. But they are cool. Nice looking HMMWV! You will really enjoy it. BTW, those are 8 bolt wheels for bias ply tires. If you change your tires to radials, I believe you will have to change the rims to the 12 bolt type.

What color did you get....Woodland camo? Sounds like you scored a nice vehicle.
