Has anyone put a wedge in the front and rear spring mounts to improve the angle on the joints. I don't know what it would do to the front steering geometry ? Maybe it could only be done on the rear ?
Driver side lock and handle ready to go back in with repaired and reinforced lever.
Works great. Still need to re-fit the door . Gap at the top.
Also took the other handle to be keyed for the passenger side. Will be wearied to have two working door locks.
I now have key's for the driver side door ! Will pull the other side if the key fits and have it re-keyed. My luck it will be a different tumbler and key ?
Also the new headset's are here along with the intercom. Although the cab is getting better with the sound deadening the com will help.
Get the DA out with some 320. My truck was in the 3rd. CAV,8th. CAV and 13th. something ? Its the letter on the door that I don't know ? AX on one a /60 on the other ?
And always take lots of photo's !
Look great.
After another trip it looks like the ecu is now working. I even took the chance and set it sand and down she went., Then back to HWY. and up she went.
Checked tire pressure at Hwy. and got 55 psi.
Would it take some on's and off's to get the system back after resetting the PSI ?
Will retest...
I had a door handle brake and removed it for repair. Also in the door I found a backing plate with 4 rivnuts. Looks to be a backing plate for the door latch ?
I the photo you can see the 4 holes.
Must be held on by some bolts ? Any idea what kind ? Think I will go with button socket head ?
