I'd be careful you don't damage the road. The Amish down the road from me pulled a steel wheeled logging crane about a mile down the road and left huge gouges in the pavement. It was pretty obvious where it came from and where it went. I believe the county made them pay for repairs.
I like it without power steering though. As long as your rolling some its not that hard to turn. Watch how you hold the steering wheel because it is pretty unforgiving if you hit a ditch the right way.
You definatly have to plan for your turns early. As far as turning radiius, I think gunboy is about right with 38 ft. It won't make the culdesac turn in one sweep in a standard subdivision. My f350 will just barely though.
Wow, this is a timely post. I was just looking into doing this the past weekend. Put a quick connect on the one under the dash and was considering what to do with the gladhand hookup. Thanks for the info.

Good idea Rolling, you can offset areas you screw up with other area that are set aside. Just have to use some ol common sence when off roaden. Nature will fix itself, given time.
I didn't get anything till 1 & 1/2 months later when I got the title. In the meantime I had checked with my states dmv and apparantly if I had an invoice proving it was purchased from the Fed Gov - I could just apply for a tiitle through the state. I think I will try that next time. Got a...
They are just required to check the vin # on out of state vehicals. Its not a safety inspection although a may have to get a DOT inspection if I use it in my business.
