I love the sound of a MEP in the morning. and like DH said, set the unit to run at 60 hz, leave the throttle at that setting, start and stop from there, VR are kinda pricy.

I am not getting any power to the fuel solenoid, took of the plug and checked it with the switch to on, not sure were the power should come from. I read if the fuel tank is to low, it will do this, I have 1/4 of a tank.

He states he has a electric pump, I think the " check valve" he put in is causing problems. I put a electric fuel pump on my 1009, no other check valve needed, mine is also on the frame rail about half way back. Try this, with the ignition on, and fuel pump working open a bleeder to check for air.

I have a new 24 volt battery for my my MEP 701A, was thinking of using my 24 volt charger for my cordless tools. The battery's for the cordless tools are lithium ion, was wondering if that would work.

They use scrubbing stations in Ohio where H2S is heavy, the by product is a nasty yellow cake/powder, get it on your clothing and good luck getting it out.

You guys are on the money concerning H2S, a oil field worker was killed here last year, it is heavy, lays low, he bent over a mud pit, took one breath and was gone.

It differs from state to state, the crude from my well would not work without a lot of refining. that said some crude is light and sweet, may work just fine, the sweet crude is more used for fuels, the crude in my part of the world is used for lubricants.
