Unfortunately I won't be able to make it out to this one guys. I have a family birthday and on top of that the wheel seal that started leaking on the Mohave rd trip just blew. Oh well.

Used it as a tow truck again. Did well as always.

Yesterday I finally got the rest of my junk from where I had it stored. That includes my 2 post lift. I estimate it's all about 1500 lbs.

Thanks for starting this thread Blendmaster. After reading all about this law, this pretty much sums it up: HOW STUPID. Is it really too much to ask to be able to own a 5 ton, not use it commercially, but still be able to go to the home store of your choice and get all the material for the fence...

Definitely check the kingpin springs and bushings. If you have stock size tires it's probably just worn kingpin springs, especially with the age of these vehicles. It's also a good idea to check and repair any steering related parts while you are focused on the front end.

Sounds confusing! Ha ha. I'm sure you get used to it pretty quick though.

I looked around and couldn't find any black ones. I just got the warn premiums and scuffed up the chrome and paint with sandpaper and painted them flat black. If you sand and prep them well and don't leave any smooth chrome or paint then the new flat black shouldn't flake off.

Do it! Biggest to smallest. You'd probably still need a panoramic photo to fit em all in tho. Ha ha.
