I have to admit, I have never rebuilt one of these. I am doing preemptive head rebuild of a Midland this week. I have the compressor out to add the A/C PITA bracket. Any pointers for the valve and spring replacement? I found some videos on this, but most kind of blew through it pretty fast.
I'm in the process of finally installing A/C in my M1088. Just curious about the history of A/C in FMTV's. I know that the original units were rare, but which vehicles got them? Just the HIMARS? Do newer FMTV's get these units as standard now, given the armor?

To me, the foot note is very important. You can take any of these tires and drastically improve the performance with siping. You can do slices or grooving. I have experimented with this on old tires and the Goodyears sipe well. I have not driven in snow yet with them, as we don't get much snow...
Really nice video. Maybe it's just me, but I would not be able to sleep that close to a cliff in a military truck. I'd have a bad case of the what if's. "do you hear an air leak at the brake cans?? Nah...can't be ......" lol
