I've never tried doing a 37 degree on soft copper, no idea if that's "correct" or possible. Worst case is a 45 flare to NPT, and then to 37 degree. The annoying part will be supporting the copper tube. Beyond that, it's just some basic plumbing.
That's the idea. I know you can get a 3/4 npt x 1/2" tube, but I threw out the 3/8 version as I don't think these machine need more than that, and copper ain't cheap... The thing you have to pay attention to is it has to be a slip fitting, and not have a stop like most compression to npt have...
You could use a slip through compression fitting with a piece of copper tube, and then put whatever fitting you want on the end.
This is a 3/4 NPT x 3/8 tube, but they come in other sizes.
Lamp is a T-2 Midget Flange. (that's a new one on me...)
Haven't found the lens housing yet...
Here's one of the OEM's you can dive deeper on info there...

Is that an assembly? I just ran across this page and scrolling down to the example drawing, it indicates a lamp, lens/housing, and what might be a little o-ring or such...

Having not had an 803, I have no reference, but I thought it was a bit silly to have the valve on the far side of the drain hose on the first 802 I did...
I will do the job right once I'm in there... It doesn't cost much more to do it right, other than some time...
Always good to have backup heat though... Planning to use my heater/load to warm an uninsulated garage over the winter as needed. Gonna beat using propane.
Well it was a kinda rainy, crappy day... Couldn't work on the decking project, so after a run to the beer barn, and a late breakfast, I decided to move the project 802a in to the barn basement. Figured at the very least I'd be able to do the rodent screens with a roof over my head.
So that...
3 hours on the clock since the last oil change... In 2018.
'Course the clock might not work...
I was good... I did not work on the generator today. I checked that when I unhooked from the truck this morning. Rodent mesh will be Monday.
Otherwise the machine looks reasonable. Rust on terminal board screws. Will likely give things a drink of de-oxit...
Oil filter is real old, which ain't great, but I haven't compared the hours on it to the clock, so it might just not have been run much.
That was the concern. When I looked at photos of a rack, I'm not sure it isn't just stuck. I don't know that they could pop out, and then still have the unit run well after resetting them, and jiggling the rack.
Obviously that's all TBD when I pull a pump and see what I can see. Hopes are...
I'll keep that in mind, thanks!
I should just be putting some rodent deterance on it and parking it in the woodline since I'm too busy to even think right now... But I'll probably pick away at it when I should be doing something else, just to verify what's going on.
It will be hard to do, but this one was bought with the express purpose to make some money on resale...
It will however furnish some things I've been looking for, like the nice front landing gear to be swapped with the fixed leg on my current trailer. Possibly the extinguisher mount as well...
Well this is following me home now...
Managed 90 miles from pickup so far. Another 96 to go to home tomorrow.
Price was good enough that I can't loose money, even if it's dead.
Thing is, it isn't dead. I'm almost positive it just has a sticking fuel rail based on a conversation with the...
If you're looking for 16" flex duct/hose, I know McMaster-Carr carries a variety of versions up in that diameter. None of it is free, but then 12" isn't either...
Sent that off to my other half, who has been bugging me to do meter 101 with her... Some of the annalogies aren't the best, but it is a nice point of departure for sure.
While I haven't done tarps, I have pushed a ton of heavy material through a post war Singer 15 clone. Dead simple machine, nothing plastic to break. I did add a walking foot to help with some of the less cooperative fabrics. Generally ran Coats and Clark upholstery thread.
On the plus side...
Yes it will...
Seriously, it just happens.
Particularly when you're getting frustrated chasing some other mystery.
That way when you find it you can get more frustrated because you don't know if anything you just tried the last 10 minutes helped, or hurt so you can do it all over again...
Taking another look at pic 4... If you don't have a single chewed wire with that much mouse detritus, you should be buying a lottery ticket.
As mentioned above, that 21v is an issue. If you're batteries are good, and putting out 24 together, and you've got 21 down the line, there's resistance...
And... When you need a break from your brain melting down from trying to understand it all, take some time and put some 1/4" mesh screens over the various openings. (Side, Top, and 3 on the Bottom)
You for sure do not want to go through the trouble to clean up the current mess, and get running...
