I was guessing about the location being outside because of the leaves & the green grass. Not being familiar with those units, lead me to not realize that the exhaust was after the muffler, not before........my bad; still an awesome setup that will cause the gremlins that kill grid power in your...
Looks like it is under the edge of the house, due to the dirt in front. The lack of mufflers would drive me to wear earmuffs or ear plugs. My efforts with a 3kw MEP-016A genset didn't end up so nice. It killed my Direct TV system & afew other small devices.
Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I have an invite to go see another truck or two from a member here, so that's another possibility for me to ease the desire to be the proud owner the green iron machine & become an owner. Thanks again! I can't seem to get the pictures out of the phone & onto the...
Thanks for the reply RodUSMC1962! The guy wants to sweeten the deal with trailer frame that has had the bed removed to go along with the truck. The plates on the trailer were hard to read, so I can't say what it was; but the trailer is 15 or so feet long with good tires & in good shape. I will...
Good evening guys! I have been posting a bit here & there, to see how things shake out here. It seems there are a great bunch of guys here who know what they are talking about, so I am here to ask questions & learn a lot.
Today was the day to go look @ a 1982 M35A2 wo/w that a guy I knew wanted...
I have a starter that likes to do the same roll over & play dead trick @ the worst possible times. A jack rod, extended down into the engine compartment & a few bumps of the rod brings the starter back to life again every time. I'll change it here this spring as the weather warms up.
Latest auction yielded nothing for me due to transportation issues. Maybe this weekend will be better going to look @ a private individuals Duce he wants to shed from his inventory!
Nope! Shot down before even getting off the tarmac...........
Going back Sunday (2 March) to look @ a 1982 M35A...
I am very new on the board, but a determined newbie to get a 6x6 before summer. There are some up coming auctions in my AO this month & even though its not advised for a first time owner to get a truck from the auctions, its an option. Not wanting to take the shine away from the OP, I'll keep...
Glad to hear that you made it safe and sound. Awesome truck you were able to salvage @ the auction. Send me some of your spare luck if you have any left.
Well, if you guys are going to start a search party, I'll be really late trying to get there from Florida.
I hope the one I get comes from an individual, so the trip home blues won't be so bad. But then, I'll miss all the fun of bringing her home for the first time from the auction.
Thanks for the welcome AAhab.
I have a lot of information that is needed before dropping a chunk of $$ on a 6x6, preferably an M35A2. I have a line or two on a couple of trucks, but nothing firm, yet
There was a nice show this past weekend south of Bellevue @ the Markets of Marion. Lots of trucks, jeeps, & vendors with all kinds of good stuff to buy. Too bad it rained all day Saturday & made the day miserable. The attendance was low too.
