Yep they and Memphis were the big guys in the surplus MV's after WWII page 3 has a copy of their 1/2 track ad. http://www.fsmm.org/towbars/towbar_2005-1.pdf They used to sell 1/2 tracks running for 1,500 in the early 50's!
In a perfect world the motor only has 4K and the truck as a whole has 44K. It really all depends on if the gauges/speedo were the ones in it at reset(rebuild) and they still function. And no they don't replace the odometers at reset unless they are broken, that's why the tag on the dash is there.

With surplus, never assume = (ass out of U & me)! Best way is to eyeball in person some are as you think and others may have a non operating hour meter or had it replaced without the motor being replaced. A lot of 900 series have been through partial or full rebuild and some are original.
Nice looking ride. What year is it, has the big block black out lights? I was a day late and a dollar short on that one. Still looking for a 250 M1030.
davesgmc , his son Davey, Elmo the truck and I made the trip out to BFR yesterday. Glen thank you for the run of the place and use of the toy truck with the 3 foot long cutting torch and loader. It was still below freezing when we got out there but the Kansas wind died down around 11 and the...
