My truck and trailer will be there but most won't be there to Sunday. Some of us are going before noon tomorrow to drop off and beat the heat. Tomorrow is supposed to set a new heat record.
Had some Behr left over so got my former See Bee TFK painted up for this upcoming weekend. This is the first time I have used it on vinyl so will see how it holds up. 1st picture is from 3 years ago when I got it.
Crap! just noticed I forgot to paint the inside of the spare tire mount.
Paul it will be awhile before I can answer your question, my duce is over at Daves and will not have it till this week end.
Dave you can give the base back to me I will use it in the the M275 as it had a box and a bench.
The TFK was looking shabby so had some Behr paint left over and started to patch the top but ran out of cement, qt doesn't go too far. Also replaced the two rear clearance lights that have been broken since I got it.
I was going to clean the cookers but that is what gives flavor to the...
Welcome to the site. I'm a transplanted Arkie. If it was up here you could bring it up to Liberty Memorial this week end. A lot of us will set up there from Saturday noon till Monday mid-day.
Artillerydan Knows more about the 250s than anyone I know. #1 (permalink) You can shoot him an Email, he is not on this site very often. He did several complete rebuild restorations on the 250s. If I would have had the money at the time I would have gotten one from him to go...
Mike929 I like the new Hmmwv base better, No weight adjustment just up and down, fore and aft.
To me it seems to ride, adjust, spring and just plain feel better than the stock springer. I am 5 11 and 240 and to me a better seat.
I was wanting to upgrade to a 3 point seat belt but can not...

Ok, this time I decided to mount a set in my cargo duce with what comes in the 2 seat kit.
1 First thing was to pull the stock bench & springer seat.
2 next remove the seat from the stock springer base
3 drill 4 holes in the commanders mounting plate to bolt to springer base
4 bolt...
Glen sorry to hear that, but you will be there in spirit or at least a lot of your parts will be!:-P Plus that is a long way to drive just to hang out.
Nice snag, now is the time to take an adult ed course. I had the same rust on a WC 54 and that stared me wielding with a flux wire buzz box 20+ years ago.
I could but shipping from Germany is a killer. Going to try and talk Allan out of some of his vinyl tarp chunks. I all ready have the cement. The top is the only bad part so far.
Make sure you get a bill of sale with the vin on it. The 77 dodges I have the vin is on a decal on the drivers door jam and if you try to lift it VOID will appear. Might want to check with the DMV.
I am starting to think I am becoming a RAYZER copy cat, or maybe just didn't want to reinvent the wheel. I wanted to take the edge off the ext sound so went with the Dynomax, got it delivered to the door $45.57 Amazon.com: Dynomax 24216 Race Bullet Muffler: Automotive . I wanted to be able to...
Paul I just have the front seat set kit so didn't even think of that. At the present I am just using the lap belt that comes with the duce, as this was just this was just a temp fit test. I got the set to put into a M275 that is going to need a complete rebuild and that is a long way off as I...
Yep It changed a couple months ago and this is the up-dated codes for 383 green
UP Date 4/12/15 Remember a lot of the older posts with Behr #'s on the lids are not true FS they were color matched, so start with a clean slate.
Tell the clerk the list of the FS codes in the HD paint computer...
