I would say 211, but something is a little off on how the rear of that bed looks. I almost appears that it has the wheel cut out of a 135 but is way too far back. 2cents
Yep my 1952 M135 is stock also and gets right at 14mpg also, and so much less noise than my M109 or M818. It just it is hard to relax when driving something at speed that is as old as I! I'm no longer stock, have a plate and screws, glasses and take two meds just to keep moving.;)

You can keep it 12V, mine is, but trying to trouble shoot it with the manual will be flawed. Your dad is right it would be a large chunk of change to convert it back to 24V and the 12V will work fine when whatever is causing you a problem is fixed . Try to find a good auto electrical shop...
If you have an electrical fuel pump then your harness has already be hacked into and all bets are off. I would try and find someone who has some type of auto electrical knowledge near you or if you still know the guy you got it from, asked him. Is it even still 24volts, 2 batteries?

When you shut it down is the oil level still full? I am pretty sure it has a hydrovane style compressor which will use oil to help seal the vanes. If you drain the air tank is there a lot of oil in it? If so the vanes may be worn and and you are losing oil down stream. We used to use synthetic...
