A friend of mine gave me some pictures of a ferret in service. The caption on the back says "reforger 1991 british kasern paderborn" You can clearly see the reg # on the mk2/3. He says he may have other pics and will look for them.

yah, the horrible chromed out thing...almost as bad as a duece with blazer axles

those are cool. the GSA sold one not too far from here not too long ago, I dont think it went for very much either. The neighbors would relaly love that thing sitting out back and fully erected.

the lower hull is pretty much the same the only time you would see a difference is a mk 2/4, its got thicker armour on the lower hull,,,all over. thats what mine is. I am goignto convert mine to a mk 1 eventually if I can find all the proper plates and rubber guards for the opening. I will keep...
