I finally started working on my M934 interior..

Mine are in good condition. The front hatch/vent might be a good idea to put one in, it just might work on the side vents too. Thanks for the heads up!

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

It has an accy position. All of my CUCVs had it, but I had to convince it to go into accy, as I doubt it ever got used...Once it went into accy., I cycled a couple times and worked fine after that..... I made the same complaint on the very first CUCV I had and IIRC it was doghead that said...

285/75 can go on a 6.5" rim..... But they'd be more at home on an 8".... I get it.. I've had them on my M1031 and they were fine. Had 33/12.5/15 on my M1009 Tons of people run 285/75/16.... without issue. (J.Z.'s M1008 stock rims)

I finally started working on my M934 interior..

Here is a view of the ceiling with vents removed and wood removed. You can see cross beams of metal, and beam bolted to the cross member....along with wood that appears to be add'l support for the ducting. You can also see the insulation.

I finally started working on my M934 interior..

So.. I'm gonna be using some galvanized flashing, 4", to close the gap, along with self tapping/sealing screws designed for flashing/roofs... I'm also gonna get a ton of sealant, and seal the edges of the flashing, so water can't get in.. In perusing the TMs, I found quite a few things that...

I finally started working on my M934 interior..

Well, I'm homeless now and have been living in it for a little over a month, and continuing the work... There is a multi layered roof.... There is a frame, much like a connex, INSIDE the box, of which everything else is bolted or riveted onto. It's actually quite interesting. The work involved...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

The first time you trip/pull the cord, and it rips wires out instead of just disconnecting the plug, you'd thank me..... Also, you can take one of those newfangled 'electric car parking only' spots and piss the hippies off, and if anyone asks, it's a diesel-electric hybrid... It uses...
