Truck Tractors are not QUITE Identical to Cargo Trucks

Check my build thread, I ditched the tank selector and combined the tank feeds and returns so both tanks run as one. Only downside is you have to fill both together, but the positive side is I don't have to worry about changing the lever ever again...

    the XM971 "command camper" build

No still have it, just was in Andew's area with the f450 and decided to pick it up. Still debating on driving the 818 with the 750 to the rally next year. Back to this thread, the cab over looks great.

    the XM971 "command camper" build

I feel your pain on the distance thing. This is why I am so glad my F450 can pull the m750 for long distance trips while the 818 can do the moderate distance ones.

Very graphic M1008 heater core war pictures

Well now I have to go bomb the truck and put traps, dryer sheets, chipmunks with mp4's and the kids on rotating watch to make sure the rodents stay out of all my wiring.

Referring to putting it into 8x8 or throwing into neutral. As far as 8x8, yes anytime. But if you were in low it should have already been engaged. Throwing it into neutral can be done but not recommend as you won't be able to get it back into high or low because of shaft speed. Plus you...

    5 Ton Lug Nut Torque

I have one and used it when I had to change a tire before I got the impacts. It works well and there is a little trick to let you get to the right area of torque spec if you don't have a torque wrench available. I did the math on mine and I think I would only have had to set my wreck at 8.5 ft...
