I've got one of those, I tried putting it on a pickup truck bed with some angle iron to reinforce it. didn't turn out so well. I may try it on the deuce though.
Nothing says "I know what I'm talking about" like name calling. A low post count may make someone a noob on a particular forum, it does not however negate their knowledge. Just the same a high post count on a forum does not make someone an expert on a subject. I may be new to SS but I have...
sorry but there is not enough surface area in the intake for a significant effect compared to an intercooler. There are many many vehicles with coolant running through the intake and even without that most until recently used aluminum or pot metal castings that conduct the engine heat better...
heck, I've had a 1" wratchet strap (not used for towing or snatching, just tiedown) put a hole through my liscence plate when it let go.
stored energy can be pretty dangerous.
fuel without oxygen is useless, you need both. if an engine is running properly (not short on either) then the only way to get more power is by adding both more fuel and more air (or reducing power lossed to friction or heat, but no need to get into that)

boat building method. I'd done some stuff like that before, very nice result but definately time consuming. Thanks for the link, gives me some more stuff to think about.
anybody know if the oil filters are run in parallel (higher flow) or series (higher filtration)?
I want to remote locate them and if they are done in parallel then one could be blocked off and only run two lines from the other to a twin relocation adaptor.
Thinking of picking up a deuce that is missing a tailgate, looked around but haven't seen any for sale. Anybody know where I would be able to get one and how much $ it might be?
rofl

To buy one would involve selling my house, I plan to build one. Takes time, but I have more cubic time than cubic dollars.
