Richard, the tent is very heavy it is designed to place the tent on the frame, then stand up the frame, I do not know how you would get the tent up that high without legs that fold out.

I set one of those tents up about a month ago, easy setup for two guys, great tent.

I carry 4 extra filters ask how I know.

Check with gimp, we have filter bases and lots of filters on the cheap.

Good idea Mike.

Mine is stock 24volt, I have a block heater and a gear reduction starter, I love the way it spins over when it is cold. You do not have to worry about that living in California, but I still say keep the system stock.
