Mine only works when the engine is running...switch for engine can be on, but still only works when the engine is running. Maybe a voltage problem for mine, yours sounds like bad connection, which is possible on the steering column wire.

Jtonka I believe has one. REB kit, for the sprag, converts it to manual engagement, and made by memphis. From what I've heard, people like them. Don't have any other info for you. Dennis

If the axle is bent, an entire replacement axle can be found, I have seen them for about 350. Just noticed you are as far away as you can get from me. No idea on prices/availability in your area.

Um, what is a pre-lube starter? I know what a preluber is, put one on the M35, prime the oil pressure for 60 sec, then start.... Dennis

No rule against having kids along. I would advise camping a little ways off with them, some of the later nights involve some drinking/story time. As a group, we aren't very rowdy, but some of the other campers can be. So far the kids that do come along are older, or just stay for the day...

Okay, maybe I had a little help from a really heavy tree stump... Should have seem me tugging on the stump earlier, let out the clutch, and the front end goes up. Still looks good!

Had an OLD cedar tree/bush blow half way over. Cut the main trunks, and got the stump out with the M108. Took some wiggling, and had to winch myself out of the stump hole, but I got it! Sucker is really heavy, compared to other weights I've picked up, I'd say 5 tons. Had a heck of a time...

I think it would be okay if you box the bed frame. Was going to put a dropside on my truck, but stuck with the regular bed for dump use. Regular bed works good, without any reinforcement for what I haul. Dennis
