The Blue with Red stripe is/was used on the M1010 for the Ambu-box heater as well with units equipped with arctic heater kits. Usually the wire is taped up and bundled back when new but with age they usually end up hanging unused making us go stir crazy trying to figure out where it goes..

If you can hold your rpm's at around 750-900 after the inital start for a couple of minutes it will then probably idle just fine at 500-600 rpm. In cold weather you really don't want it idling so slow with the engine still cold as you can wind up "wet stacking"

I assume you have double checked fluid levels for the trans? What fluid did/do you have in the trans? Does the motor smoke excessively compared to others like it?
