making small batches of custom parts

Whom ever is the first person to make a wheel adapter that allows the HEMTT wheel to be ran on a deuce will get rich. Trust me, all of us who bought a lot or 2 of these wheels are just waiting to be able to cheaply put them on our trucks. These wheels look good, were priced low, safer to use...

    Arctic Fuel Burning Heater Install

I love my heater. Its nice to start the truck, throw on the heater and have a toasty cab in less than 5 minutes. It was 8 degrees out and I was roasting with the heat on low so I shut it off. Needless to say, mine will not restart unless I am stopped.( This is due to what I suspect is a sensor...

    Runaway Multifuel cutoff?

My sons recovered a winch truck at Meade 2 weeks ago. It ran away when started. Luckily, they pulled the cap and smothered it before it blew. Anyone want to buy a winch truck??? It gives a new meaning to reading "starts and runs"....

    GL lots being pulled

Yep they are back, all of them. Got thru to GL and they had a system failure causing lots to drop out of the system. Remember the last time when the system locked up, with an hour to go and who ever was the high bidder thought they had hit the jackpot just stole a truck??? Now that was a mad...

    GL lots being pulled

I too was back in an addictive mood and got in early to bid on 5 tons. Here is the message (below in red) I got when I went to bid. I guess the 5 tons were pulled to fight a war in N Korea!!! Called GL and got a recording. We have survived this same thing occurring several times in the past with...

    Advice--Words of Wisdom?

Here is what works for me. Buy another one, and tell her its gonna wind up as a parts truck to save you lots of money, or better yet, make you money. After you get to 5 trucks, using this approach, they will lose track of what you have. This is working for me with deuces. "Oh yea, that's a part...

U.S. Military 6,000 BTU Air Conditioner

I got a new one in a crate at Aberdeen. My sons set one up in the back of a deuce, and it cooled the cargo bed, with cover on course, to 70 when it was 88 outside. These are great units for the price. You need one if you party all nite and want to sleep during the day when parked on asphalt.

Proper operation of a deuce, while enjoying a cup of Joe

I just love the duct tape idea so much that i went to the garage, got 5 rolls and put them in every deuce in the back yard. After sitting in the sun for several days the edges will get sticky and add more stick to the floor. Reason #2 is duct tape works miracles. Just ask Don Garlits...

    10 bolt hubs for Deuce

Well at 475 per hob its cheaper to buy wheels. In fact I am looking into getting my HEMTT wheels modified locally to fit a deuce. Its gonna be cheaper than 400 a wheel or 475 a hub...This is an expensive hobby when we get into modernizing 40 year old trucks with state of the art wheels, new...
