This came up just a week or two ago.... Its broken. I doubt I can get it fixed. It used an outside codeset, and I think they have shut down. I will get the button removed asap.

Paul, it sounds like you have an intermittent problem. I suspect you probably have a wire rubbing and touching only sometimes. It will be tough to find, but have faith....
Interesting, I went to michigan at least once with my 2000 S10 Blazer with a full BLUE lightbar on the roof. No issue what so-ever, and I spent almost a week there!
Did I miss the NY Law posting?
Agreed gimpy.... Like I said... not picking on him in general... Just seeing a rash of these posts lately, and they are starting to get to me, had to say something!

Ken here on the site, says drill a bunch of holes in the housing, to allow more air to reach the filter.... I presume there are a lot of ways to handle it.
Re: RE: Mufflers For M1009
Actually, this statement is wrong. The intake system on a stock 6.2 is VERY restrictive, and may be a bigger source than the stock exhaust. A diesel wants to breath. Open up the exhaust, you really need to open the intake, and same the other way.
