    Question for the experts

    Moved to correct forum.

    LED Tail lights replacing incandescent.

I put the LED tail lights on my 5-ton and they just worked. I hooked them up to a battery charger first and tested each lead first though to make sure the labels were correct. If it were a modern vehicle with a power control system for lighting in it I would say it was a resistance problem...

Torn passenger axle boot. Need spindle sockets.

Since you are doing a 5-ton you might want to consider getting some sort of lift to a} remove the wheel/tire and b) to remove the drum. The rest is manageable by hand. We did JW4x4s right and left at different times in the last year and it was a game changer having a fork lift. Remember to...

Has anyone been refused at a car show because they drove a MILITARY VEHICAL?

Yeah, they turned me away once but when I backed out over 7 Corvettes they felt differently. :-) (Yes, I'm kidding, the 7th one I only bumped.)

No shortage of M998s for GP/IP

That is funny as he11. It sounds exactly like something I would do if I had a neighbor like that and I used to have a doozy while she was still alive.

No shortage of M998s for GP/IP

You know that doesn't mean trucks right? It means just what it says, rolling stock. Commercial Venture 4-Rolling Stock (CV4-R) Contract They could only have three more trucks to sell but 3,773 old beat up Chrysler K cars left to dump.

    Any info on this company

A credit union may be better if you are a member of one. Then if you must finance the "toy" (this isn't exactly a normal truck) you may end up getting a personal loan and not an auto loan for the money.

    Any info on this company

I myself don't question the 14 year vet's experience or capabilities (thank him for his service please) or the quality of the work or the truck when it leaves your place. I asked a simple question, what is a HMMWV H1?

    How to Handle a Blowout

And we're done here. And two members are getting a week off for their incessant male urination contests in the open forum. When they come back they can either be more civil, non-antagonistic and stop pushing the limits or the time off will be much much longer.

GP Hmmwv's sold with On Road Titles.

I'm surprised this thread has lasted this long.

    How to Handle a Blowout

The topic is how to handle a blowout. Not how to handle ice or rain or hitting a chicken trying to cross the road. It is also not about ROPS or FOPS or mops. Please stay on topic.

    M764 Earthboring rig. Worth getting?

I have a use for it now. Buy and bring it over and I'll test if for you free of charge. :-)

M939A2 5 Ton No Start / No run

It might not be getting a good ground on the PCB. Mine was flaking out until I pulled the cover (mine isn't full of epoxy) and I just put the cover back on and put wire ties on it to hold it down better. Or buy a good takeout from the want ads.
