Linda, DMV is a no brainer. I know you're a ways away, but, there is a DMV service that will do you right here in Arcadia. PM me if you want details. DO NOT try to register it, fail, then try out here. It makes it hard for the outfit here. I still haven't washed the dirt off from the last trip...
March 1st weekend looks good so far for me. Just gotta check with my owner to make sure there is nothing else planned. If that isn't good for others, the 15th would work on this end. My wife works every other w-end, so there has to be someone here to supervise the animals....I mean girls. :roll...
I have put a tad over 10k on my junk, with a small amount of trailer pulling. No issues....yet. I'd run it 'till it it starts to grab at the extreme top of the travel. Get all you can out of what you have.
Tyler, 1st, i'd try a stiff brush and a bit of dish washing soap or maybe hand cleaner. If that doesn't seem to work, try Goof Off, get it at Home Defect, or plain old brake cleaner. You might also try a pressure washer. Good luck.
Mine has about an inch of freeplay and lets out about 2 inches from the top of the stroke. Odd, the pedal shaft has marks notched into it. One exactly where the freeplay ends and the other at the point where the clutch engages/disengages. Any one elses have these marks?
Congrats Devin! Looks like a clean ride. The tracked Dub is Ca licensed! Could it be street legal??!! So, since you have a nice fresh piece of gereen iron...or two, are you up to a desert trip? I feel another one comming on....after I get the airshift t-case in.
RE: Someday I
Hey, those are nice trucks too! Maybe I need to start thinking about getting another one. Seems that the ones comming up are very clean. Congrats, be patient, your EUCs will come in.
There's a few flying around out here. They are neat planes. I still wanna get a pilots license. I know, it's a commie bastige plane, but they are still way cool!
Speedo, tach, oil pressure...Uncle S is crackin' down on them. I know a guy who has a half dozen vehicles on loan from the gov. and they wanna take the gauges out of the vehicles still owned by them due to radium.
RE: CUCV Import
softboyled,
Is it an ambulance you want? The Fontana brothers have a fairly clean GM amb. Here's the catch...no drive train...engine, trans and I think, no front or rear ends. I will hopefully be out there this Saturday, i'll snap a pic of it.
