    I know a guy running 62 inch tractor tires on GMC axles. he has them welded and is breaking the front shafts on a regular basis. He has to be very careful.

    In my opinion I would rather have the rockwell axles. the parts are readily available and cheaper, plus you get double reduction system and I THINK the gear ratio is lower on the rock. (can anyone verify?)
