I used exactly 100 rivets when I put mine in. pulled both seats to get to it all. dropped right in and went smoothly. I can tell a difference in the squeaks and rattles. I'm supposed to buy another this weekend for the 5T.

My XM818 has a tube grill.

lock right is a good quick cheap spider gear swap. makes for a cheap locker and isnt that bad.

this is great info. just what I was looking for. Do you all like to mount your EGT such that it samples all the cylinders or is there 1 that likes to run lean and you look at that one? also what EGT should a stock 250 run? so I can judge where mine is now as compared to normal.

Those poor rockwell's are turning the same exact speed they were toting around those little 1100's. I just go further every time they turn.

I painted mine camo and it blends right in with the rest of the truck. I like the original look.

As some of you have read my truck now desperately needs more power with the install of new 1600's. what are all my options for the NHC-250? how high can I run the EGT and still be totally safe. the other weekend I ran my truck with the pedel literally to the floor for 4 hours coming home...

ya thats a buddy of mine who just happened to be right in the area and went with me to pick it up. worked out great and we got to see some pretty cool stuff at the drmo. Gotta love when you drive up to the front gate of the base and they just salute you and wave you in.

trailer is back in SC. more later. tires were all perfect. brand new just needed air. 1 gladhand was broken and GL guys are morons. hehehe

I too installed the 1600's this weekend on my 818. I do like the extra speed but it's terrible on power now when pulling ANY load. just an empty trailer and it's full throttle all the time and downshifting on ANY grade and down to 45mph. I need to find a way to get more power from the NHC-250.
