    Mep-807a issue

Good Day: Well a 300 AMP service. Cool. What everyone is thinking about is this 100KW has a 66 gallon fuel tank. At full load this is good for 8 hours of operation. You will not be using quite so much, but you have to plan for this fuel usage. You may get up to 10 hours on a full tank...

    MP-803A - Will not Crank from S-1

first, the fuel shut off is screwed into the wrong hole. It goes in the top hole. Next, adjust your speeder adjustment so it runs better. Your pic indicates it at no fuel position. Pull it out a bit and try again. If the cable is busted, fix that first. Cool?

MEP-804A Low Voltage - Voltage Regulator Question

Oh the one check was ro measure thru the voltage adjust R1. That puppy is a 10K Ohm POT so you should read around 13K OHMs on that one. Hope the rest helps. If the fuse is OK, it is probably the regulator or a wire issue. The checks will show what is what.

MEP-804A Low Voltage - Voltage Regulator Question

Hey! You are correct. It was late. 005563350 or 005565306 for the Libby. 10 K Ohms. The Kits 013630493 and 015006070 for the Libby. Mr PEAPVP is correct. Recommend being careful on that cage code. The vendor changed many times over the life of the gen. The last ones were just a carbon...

MEP-804A Low Voltage - Voltage Regulator Question

OK, but he measured up to 13+ K ohms so I do not believe it ever worked correctly. None of the 5 thru 15s used a 10K pot for an R1.

MEP-804A Low Voltage - Voltage Regulator Question

Hey, UOC is in the parts manual right up front for everyone to read and match up. GIs never read it so I guess I can't expect the tax payers to do so either. Again a CW4 :coffee:Warrant Officers job and a CECOM LAR Master tech for the planet was supposed to read it for them like the...

MEP-804A Low Voltage - Voltage Regulator Question

I guess I have to do it again as the site went to nothing again. You have a Libby regulator. Lets do the Regulator checks. For starters a Libby uses a 3K OHM voltage adjust R1 and a 3K OHM R16. Your measurements were not this. So check the field fuse 3A Fast Blow beside the regulator and if...

    MP-803A - Will not Crank from S-1

Good Day: Just sitting there, all off the S14 should have a closed contact between 1 and 8. This changes at about 900 RPM as this contact set controls the k16. What is supposed to occur is as you rotate the s1 to run; K16 energizes closing a contact set where you could take a multimeter from...
