P.s. Another reason for the height as you now have noted m73819 does not like to get wet and wanted extra height so we can do crane lifts under the cover and he not get wet.
To return our thoughts back to our regular programming.
Yes it was raining yesterday. Yes we got wet but we got it done. The frame is complete and on the blocks.
Now for those of you wondering why the blocks? Note now that 2 large trucks will fit side by side!!
The tricky part was...
Okay second row
Drop sides are priceless
The tractor started to become more practical. Had to move to a 6x6 to lift the opposite side on the blocks
Warning none of this is as easy as it looks
Gimpy they have a 3 inch deep by 1" diameter spike as you said on the feet. We are going to drill holes in the concrete to set the spike into that will provide additional rigidity and then also bolt each leg into the base.
M73819 ran signals all day on the lifts. It is good to have a 40 year plus crane operator helping when doing heavy lifts.
Each block is 2 tons.
Once the first wall was up the then the main lift pipe had to be moved to the offside to prepare for the lift to get the leg extensions on and then...

Just picked up another load. These are weighing in at 2 tons each so we are limited to 6 at a time.
$25 dollars...
Okay made more headway yesterday. 73m819 made a Lego run yesterday to get some adult Legos.
So with a pile of sand and adult Legos what are we up to?
More details of where the frame is at the moment. There is still the leg extensions and another 8 foot section to install on the frame

Thank you commander Zout for all the history lessons and sharing your experiences!
So I started to build frame assemblies and was trying to figure out how to put the sides together without dragging the frame all over the rocks.
Ultimately had to unhinge one side and lower like the tm said. Then rigged up a harness that was hooked up to wrecker boom from rope but that...
