As you can see this M38A1 engine/transmission cross member has seen better days. I have a new one along with the rear engine mount on order from Willys Jeep Parts. I was hoping it would arrive so I could install it before the Sept. MV of the month ended.......Oh well!!

Chris, there is one handle that operates 2 cables, and 2 fording valves. One on the intake between the air cleaner and carburetor , and another on the exhaust valve cover breather. When the handle is pulled, it closes the fording valves, allowing the Jeep to run in water up to 37 1/2 inches...
