I hope you don’t drive listening to music with the earbuds in.
Illegal and VERY big ticket.
Can’t hear emergency vehicles with those in is the reason.
Just FYI in case you didn’t know.
Don’t forget marker lights when you finish your camper.
Being seen at night is always a plus.
Have you already checked your brakes (system) and wheel bearings/seals?
Most need attention after auction.
Those are great trailers.
Your gonna love it!
Snap-on makes a socket specifically for that injector.
Works perfect.
Whichever injector socket you use, leave the thread protectors on the injectors until your ready to hook the lines up.
That will prevent any leakage issues later if you accidentally nick one.
Last October I replaced my ignition switch after some troubleshooting. That switch is so fun to change. I first thought it was the DH relay. It was not.
Yesterday I was doing coyote patrol on the ranch and had stopped and started engine several times with long breaks in between.
No big deal...
Might try your local alternator/starter rebuild shop.
They usually have those.
If not, they should be able to point you in right direction.
Your best bet is probably the junkyard.
Grab one or two and be done with it.
Just used my tire plug kit.
I haven’t taken a tire in to get a flat fixed in years.
Never do a road trip without it.
Those kits are wonderful!
Someday I’ll get new trailer tires.
The Rain-X antifog works.
There are also a few aviation products that work even better.
Can’t remember them all.
Prist aviation window cleaner spray also has the anti fog additives and it’s what I use.
Expensive but well worth it.
Luckily I don’t have to pay for it.
Delphi and Bosch make them and are top quality replacements.
Bosch is what the trucks originally came with from factory.
Check ebay for Diesel 6.2L injectors.
Lots will come up but stay with the two brands mentioned.
It’s still an active auction so I can’t post listing link.
Stay away...
I understand about chinese crap completely! But for a non moving part I wouldn't worry about it. I go to great lengths to avoid aftermarket Chinese, Mexican etc parts as well. It just depends on what it is. Your next bet is go to local salvage yard and try to find a used one. To be honest most...
12.3 is not charging.
Is the replacement alternator known to be good?
Checked by alternator shop?
Belt tight? Simple I know but not obvious to everyone.
Any fusible links left?
Check all your under Dash fuses and relays?
12v conversions are not all the same.
Bad thing about them is that...
Since all that was done almost 9 years ago, would be interesting to see if it worked.
Looks comical to me.
Definitely to big and heavy a trailer for a 4Runner.
