Ok, I tried screwdriver, pipe wrench, big channel lock pliers... how am I supposed to take off the grease cap?

So I posted this: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/trailers/84057-m1101-tailgate-pin.html and subsequently was told by the site that I had to read the rules of the site before I could post/read any more. Was that a not-so-subtle hint that I should have posted in the Parts Wanted section?

I'm looking for the pin that holds the tailgate closed. It's a ball lock pin with a hole at the end for a split ring. Does anybody know of a source for these various bits and pieces, other than the manufacturer themselves?

I'm planning on getting an m101 trailer, and having the bed sprayed with line-x. Are there additional steps that the line-x guy has to take in order to prep the trailer? I doubt he's had much experience with CARC specifically, and I would like to know if I should get it sandblasted, and primed...
