Key/ lock/ Ignition cylinder doesnt make good contact, i have to wiggle it and or hold it forward without going far enough to turn truck over. If i do, truck wont start. If i turn key forward till there is pressure, glow plugs/ wait light come on, then truck will start. Anyone run into this before?

The Stanadyne Model number is DB2829-4582. Its at OEM surplus and says its for 88-89 6.2 diesel. Mines an 85 M1009, will this pump work?
