Well it took longer than expected, and a few more problems than expected, but my "new' CCKW made it home to Central Texas last night! Pics and a longer story to follow. It would not have been possible though without the help of Scott ( Cooltex24 ) or his father who were a great help in getting...
Can anyone assist in moving a CCKW approximately 180 miles in the central Texas area? Vehicle runs, so loading and unloading shouldn't be a problem. Thanks
I am looking for anyone who could pick-up a CCKW and provide temporary storage until I can arrange transportation to Texas. It is located in northern California. Please PM or e-mail with price if you can assist. Thanks
Sorry for the poor quality of this picture. I thought it was neat seeing a WWII Director's Trailer being used to haul a Buffalo around in Germany in 1956. The unit was the 510 Tank Battalion, 4th Armored Group. The picture is in the Squadron HQ of the 1/10 Cavalry( Buffalo Soldiers ). Oh yeah...

Leaving Colorado Springs in 10 days and heading home to Central Texas. Have an 18 ft. trailer with some extra room if anyone needs parts or pieces hauled. Jeff
I am looking at buying a trailer that is only 6ft. 6 inches wide between the fenders. My question is will a WC51 fit between these fenders? I know it will be close and I am out of state and can't measure mine. Can anyone tell me the distance from outside to outside of the tires? Thanks
