On my way to work this morning and blew a tire...well not really blew so much as got a punch through the tread out the sidewall...
Ended up driving another 10 Miles on the Run flat to get to a place to call help, tire went at about 65MPH, on a highway.
wasn't going to plug it or patch it anyway...
I opened the test/condensate drain on the fuel filter canister.
Nothing came out.
Started the truck it started right up no issues, and was running perfectly then just stopped.
I never got anything out of that drain the entire time.
Took the drain line completely off, again Nothing there...
Belts off yesterday evening on my way home. had a tapping noise in the vicinity of the alternator but could not nail it down.
At any rate the belts came off and got F'd up. Then I noticed the pulley was loose. and very loose...
then today when it was light out I removed the alternator to check...
6.5L NA 3L80, Runs Great, Drives Great, Price paid was great. Just delivered yesterday.
Transmission Fluid was Clean and Red, Oil was clean and clear, coolant green, have not had time or weather in the last 24 hours to do anything other than test drive and bring it home. single digits suck.
