    Shorter Steering Wheel Shaft?

    Anyone had any luck in shortening the steering wheel shaft. The darn thing sticks out from the dash a good foot and the Gunny isn't so lean anymore. Any suggestions on maybe cutting it down and having a machine shop re thread the end to fasten the wheel back on. Thought about just cutting...
