Ps, where did you plug/plum hydraulics to your thumb? and what are you using to operate it? Is the steel...
Turns out the rod was short! Went down to the machine shop and put a tape on it today, Guess I should have measured it before I took it down to the Machine shop but it was heavy and well boxed!
The machine shop did also insist that the rod was the exact same length as the rusty one they...
Can anyone with a SEE measure their dipper rod in the stowed position? I need the length from the bottom of the weld on the piston rod eye down to the plane of the gland. Thinking I'm just going to approximate the gland height At this point I'm kind of desperate to get this cylinder out of the...
If you can please look up (SPEEDWOBLE) the FLU-419 M35C Whole Cylinder part # is G109186 I need to know the dipper GLAND LENGTH
The Dipper has a different gland than the 580. The 580 uses the same gland for the SWING / Stabilizer / Dipper Cylinder. In the flu-419 M35C because of the folding...
Just got off the phone with a Case rep at the west coast largest part's house for case, Once a item goes dead in the case system they delete all the parts numbers diagrams etc. Not alot of help to people trying to track down and resolve issues with part's etc. I wonder if someone has the old...
This thread seems an appropriate place to ask if the piston can be put in reversed? or is it symmetrical? I recently had a new gland rod and seals put in a M35 dipper cylinder because the rod was too rusty, in the process of removing the gland the shop had to destroy the old Dipper cylinder...
The latch on top rear of the cab, to secure the backhoe for driving. I am going out where I am working on the FLU419 today will report back, I was thinking/hoping maybe there is some air in the cylinder I will pull the dipper in all the way and then hopefully it will extend more so the handle...
Thanks Frank! I bookmarked that site, very useful. I did talk to a part's guy in Kansas City yesterday, Jerry was his name; he said I could get the whole cylinder for $800 new from Case in Indiana. I spent about 600$ and now I need a new rod. I looked back at my messages to the Auction seller...
Thanks Speed appreciate your help! My dad had a extendahoe years ago and I could never do it when I was a teen(only got a couple tries) this I got the first try lol, my bucket will not tuck like that up against the iron rail contour and this is the end result. It was latched when I got it I...
So I ordered a replacement rod off a popular auction site, the seller had two listings with the same part #, I ordered it and 'poof' the rod was at my doorstep. I then took the cylinder with the rusty rod and the new rod and gland into the Machine shop. Long story short the handle pulls up...
Scraped it wire brushed it cleaned with alcohol and tried the aervoe and the CRC: discovered my unimog was the Forest green 34079 not the flat green woodland 34094, nice thing about camo is it's hard to tell and 'wrong paint ' is very subjective. Noticed someone before me had used the woodland...
Alternate part # is 1543000C1 seems to be a fairly common older case part used for swing dipper and stabilizer cylinders found one from EI for 117$! Thanks Speed!

Yes it look like it swells after a time? Or on the recap they just straight painted it over rust? My loader looks to be a 2005 and still has the same paint cracking at joint problems and or bubbles hiding rust. I would say about 15% so not that bad comparitivly the undercarriage is about 35%...
