So I just skimmed the thread so please don't burn me at the stake if it's already been mentioned but what about using some 4.10, 4.42, or 4.64 3rds from a Mack dumptruck? Not sure what they'd need to work? Possibly a few new holes drilled for the chunk to bolt in and possibly new spider gears...
