Getting a M1008 to add to our vehicle collection

My better half doesn't like my '84 square body. "It's handles like a brick, rides rough and hard to drive" she likes her Ram. I'm not a fan of any of the new trucks. But both Dodge (Ram) with the 5.7 and Chevy with the LS have good motors. And with 3 acres with a creek and tree line...

Getting a M1008 to add to our vehicle collection

My son and I bought a pair of M35A2's and loved them but needed smaller "toys". He bought a M1009 and I love it but like my pickup bed. I'm going to look at and pick up (hopefully) a M1008 to add to our line up. Once you get into these vehicle they are addictive and getting expensive. But...

53? Studebaker truck Rebuilt into multifuel

Thanks for all the input. After digging through paperwork and crawling and/over my “Little Deuce Coupe” I found the registration number that was mentioned earlier. My son and I got lucky. This truck is in great shape ( after some brake work and maintenance) we drove her 40 miles home. and we...

Getting a Date for my M35A2

I own a few old civilian vehicles so I don’t trust the odometer on any of them. Thats why my son and I looked for wear and tear. Our old girl looks and runs better than my ‘84 Chevy. By springtime we’ll have the brakes rebuilt and the bugs shaken out.

Thank you for the Information. It clears up a lot. It also explains some modification we found. Like it being changed from a horizontal to vertical exhaust. Again Thank you and sorry for being a pain inthe ass

Getting a Date for my M35A2

It is only showing 20,000 miles and judging by the lack of wear and everything functions correctly. My son and I both agree that the miles look to be accurate. If it is a 1952 then it's not the correct engine. From what we found doing research the Multi fuel didn't get used until the 1960's

Getting a Date for my M35A2

New to the group and I know this has been asked but I can not find it. I have a M35A2 with a serial # of M-25035. From the digging I have done it's a South Bend (Studebaker) built truck. I am getting the title work done to get it road legal and need help with the year. It has the Multi...
