Naming of a spare part in the dashboard - Blazer K5 / Spare Parts Shop Search

You can send it internationally via DSL Express or to my "American" PO box address. I think it's in Florida, so it's a national package. I will cover the shipping costs and please let me know, via message, what you will get in return.

Naming of a spare part in the dashboard - Blazer K5 / Spare Parts Shop Search

99 USD is quite a high price. For me, that adds taxes and shipping to Germany. Maybe someone - who still has it mounted in his M1009 / M1008 - can tell me the edge dimensions. Once from the top plate and then the width of the "feet" on the dashboard. There must be something like this with a...

    Small bridging project M1009

It's a horror... If you don't have your own assembly hall or barn, you're very dependent on the weather. Now that I have the suspected causes for the starter motor that keeps coming loose - see the thread - and the Blazer is covered in the underground garage, the parts I need have...

Naming of a spare part in the dashboard - Blazer K5 / Spare Parts Shop Search

OK, I have the trim sold by LGM. If someone has fitted the "adapter plate", can someone take photos of this for me? of this. In particular, I would be interested to know if the fixing screws of the adapter plate simply drilled through the plastic amateur board trim, or how does this work? Does...

Naming of a spare part in the dashboard - Blazer K5 / Spare Parts Shop Search

Even with the part number and various term combinations, I can't find anything on the Internet. Neither a graphic nor a parts availability. This is interesting, all I get is a TM from Google. Does anyone have any additional ideas as to whether this part or an equivalent product can be sourced...

Naming of a spare part in the dashboard - Blazer K5 / Spare Parts Shop Search

Is there any other name for the mounting plate on the dashboard than "radio equipment stand"? I'm surprised that you can't find anything about this on eBay or elsewhere, when almost everyone removes it in their vehicle?

where is the simpelst Check for the control indicator "4 WD active" in the dashboard

That's exactly what I meant, I was hoping when studying the transfer case that I could reach the switch for the shift lever from the driver's cab. OK, then I'll have to take a look at it from below...

    Starter motor loosens recurrently - M1009 / Chevrolet Blazer K5 6,2 Diesel

OK.... we all don't want to forget that the thread is basically about a starter motor that keeps coming loose. We have all already established that the two fastening screws can only be used once, that there are shim washers and why, that correct assembly is important, just like the starter...

where is the simpelst Check for the control indicator "4 WD active" in the dashboard

I have a further question here. I removed the 4WD shift lever cover and wanted to follow the pressure sensor cable route. But I couldn't see the "pressure switch" in the distributor gearbox housing through the opening of the shift lever. The cable went to the front, but I couldn't see...

    Starter motor loosens recurrently - M1009 / Chevrolet Blazer K5 6,2 Diesel

Hello, OK, please not so fast. o_O So the 2 retaining screws are specified. The TM 9-2320-289-20 does not describe the 28MT DELCO REDUCTION starter motor, it describes the others. The screw - see drawing - number 3 will remain the same, regardless of which starter motor is installed...

    Starter motor loosens recurrently - M1009 / Chevrolet Blazer K5 6,2 Diesel

I have the document (TM9-2320-289-20) and yes it describes it. I just hope that I find the screws version on the engine and I have a screw that fits.

    Starter motor loosens recurrently - M1009 / Chevrolet Blazer K5 6,2 Diesel

:)(y) Thank you very much, yes, I had it already solved and then I was afraid that the wiring is not enough until I put the starter on the drive shaft. But I think it makes sense. Now I just hope I can find the bolt hole in the engine block for the support bracket. I really have a little...

    Starter motor loosens recurrently - M1009 / Chevrolet Blazer K5 6,2 Diesel

Guys... I would like to thank you again for the answers and... ... apologize if some feel "offended" or personally "negatively" addressed, if I ask here so steadily and energetically. So retaining screws are newly ordered and the support bracket also. Probably I have to make then still...
