Yah it was weird, the pin wasn't oversized. I did crimp it down a bit to make sure it doesn't rattle off. Gen works great now, first gen I have messed with. At least I know most of the components now, hopefully this thread helps someone.
Thank you so much, I am familiar with TMs. They are pretty vague and limited on diagnosing. Do you have a picture of the fuses? I have only noticed one fuse that sits below a circuit breaker. That fuse is intact
For troubleshooting, I have not done much for this symptom, since I am also dealing with not producing AC. After turning off the main switch and emergency switch it will take a couple of minutes to shut off. It will slowly idle down and stumble to turn off, like it is being starved fuel.

Yes, correct I am referring to the ICE diagnostic box. I was messing with it for the first time, I powered it up with the NATO cable option and it did no like it. I had a second one to use and that time with the 120v adapter. I learned my lesson
