    M37 engine knocking

I don't know why I would ever question this groups' expertise. I think the attached pic from #2 tells the story. The bearing halves are imbedded in each other and paper thin. Geez these engines are tough. I will for sure pull the other caps. when saying bearing shells do you mean the bearing...

    M37 engine knocking

This is from #1. I am not an expert but I don't see anything alarming. The rod bearing halves are scored but each in a single piece. I an going to pull #2 but if it looks the same that will probably be as far as I go with this. What do you fellas think?

Hello Steel Soldiers and I wish you a pleasant Labor Day weekend. I have a very strange engine knock that I hope someone can help me to troubleshoot. I was out for a drive a few weeks ago and the engine acted like it was getting hot so I headed towards home. Before I go to the house the engine...

Operation: Ethel. Kendelrios M37 (re)build thread

Some where along the line someone was converting her to 12V but I would like to convert her back if I can find the parts and...

    M37 clutch replacement- questions

Thanks for all the input and sorry for the late reply. SO, the clutch disk was in fact stuck to the flywheel. I could see a gap between the disk and flywheel in one area and no gap in another. I gently used the putty knife in the gap to open it up and after prying in 2 areas the disk came right...

    M37 clutch replacement- questions

I am new to the website and I hope I am posting my question in the right place. I have a 1962 M37B1 that is in pretty good shape but has been stored outside for about 10 years before I got it. I have lightly driven it and was going to go for my first real drive yesterday evening and the clutch...
