I’m trying to remember other threads that you have posted on. I think you are up to 6 or 7 counting the H-1? Boys will need some spare trucks if they are anything like mine. Nice having something that you can enjoy with them.
What are you going to do with all of them? I have a M1123 and a M1165 and I wouldn’t give a nickel for another one. You are of above average intelligence and I know you have a good plan. I’m just curious. Guess it’s none of my business and I’m happy that you have so many Humvee’s
Stay away from anything SECO… I got a b-pillar and rails from them and they are junk! Other member here had the same issue as I did. I still got the b-pillar because I didn’t want it on my truck. Maybe others have had a better experience than I did. I bought new oem stuff and I couldn’t be happier.
I removed mine today from my M1165 and I had 2 bolts that went thru that metal plate that thread into a long thick steel piece that runs with the rib of the floor. It took some ass to get them loose but they came out just fine.
Today my Son and I started taking out rear interior, seats, mats, platform for gunner. We vacuumed it out and used a combination of brushes to get dirt out with vacuum. I don’t like to wash and make more mud than I need to. I found a 1969 quarter in the passenger seat. I’m on the hunt for a new...
When I got my M1165 cap was down too far and I’m sure it was restricting the limited flow of air. I don’t think I have ever known or read about a person using truck more than you. I think that’s amazing.
Pics are awesome! Beautiful people in beautiful trucks seeing beautiful things. I think Eric’s mushroom cap is too far down on his intake. Maybe not but it looks crooked
Mine didn’t squeak and it started after a few hundred miles and it drove me nuts! Ordered a new belt from Mac Motors I believe and it wasn’t a cogged belt like the original. It was fine for a few hundred miles and it started squeaking. I replaced it with a gates fleet belt that was green and I...
I had my complete exhaust off without removing the drive shaft. It was like counting pieces and I started from the turbo and worked my way back. I started from the muffler to put it back together.
I don’t think you are very far away and maybe at some point you could show me the work of Gypsies with this alternator swap.. lol reference to ant-man and nothing else
Take the elbow off of the intake, look at the filter. My elbow was torn in half. 4 or 5 bolts gets the stack off of the exhaust. Turbo has to be working unless you are hearing noises from it. I don’t think elbow is the problem but you need to what you got. Check the cap on the intake, maybe...
I don’t know how to do anything like that but I’m not opposed to it in anyway. I cleaned my resonator out when I did my injection pump. Maybe H1 could post a step by step conversion for dummies? Can you still run our tach’s with the swap?
Glad a few things are going your way. I have the same truck and I think we got them around the same time. This truck is my personal favorite not because it’s any better or worse but I just love the 4 door truck. I had to replace my ip also and I had leaks everywhere. I don’t think I have 100...
My M1165 that was reset by Milton had the valley drain plugged. I drove the plug out so valley could drain. I was advised that I don’t have the tube that runs behind the block and it’s a bad idea to let the valley drain against the block. Do some digging and see what you come up with
I don’t call out people that can’t afford the 15.00 membership. I understand your situation and I hope it improves. I’m just glad that you are here! I remember when I was broke and trying to do stuff that I couldn’t afford. Not much fun. I think your positive energy is enough… Im really...
