Flu Farm that is a good looking collection. I like the trencher, don't need it but sure do like it. All I have is a SEE and a skid steer. Wife says no more toys.
Yes, There are 2 of them. Cheap from EI. The way I did mine was stuff a small rag in the hole to catch cuttings. Did /does it have the small pins in the side of the neck of the trans? If so remove them. There is a thread on here telling how to do that. I "lightly ground"(flat spotted) the side...
While you have it all apart and are putting it back together, don't forget the new shift bushing-both of them. Very easy to do on the bench, not so easy in the truck.
NDT, that is it. It's not the HMEE. Sorry I don't know how to move pics around to here. Guyfang I think that(HMEE) is gonna be the next 'SEE' type machine to be sold from Uncle Sam in 10-15 yrs. to the public.
Seen a loader/backhoe on a GSA site for sale(auction) today. What is it called? Ours is a FLU419 or a 'SEE'. This is a Case W-14 with a backhoe built on back. Tag says for the Navy. Tag is very hard to read all of it. I have never seen one before. Has anyone seen such a critter before? Sorry...
Lots of WD40 or what ever you like, some kind of drift pin and a large hammer. Some of them came out easy and some had to beat out like crazy. When I did mine I removed pins first before taking seal end apart, that way I could use truck power to move ram(s) as needed to take bind off of machine...
I bought my wrench on Ebay and it works fine. It works on the small and large sizes. All my cylinders have a small screw in them holding the gland from moving. Redid all my cylinders that were leaking( a few were pouring) on the machine. Of course you have to take the top pin out, sometimes a...
Flu Farm just 2 weeks ago they had a auction and got rid of 29. Lowest $ was 9K, highest was just a little over 18K. This was fro RRAD at Hooks. I watched for the whole thing and even owned some for about 10 seconds before someone else bid higher than mine.
M35Fan, These also come in the cool color of Sand Summer Tan. I love mine(green). Had a tan one, but it was such a project I ended up selling it after I bought my green one. My grandkids always want a ride when use it for anything. Now the downfall is, you will end up working on this machine by...
If you don't have to have a military switch(function vs. form), EBAY has alot of different cutoff/master switches. I would use the style like on a Cat. loader/doizer from the 80's. I put a battery isolater switch on my travel trailer so I could cutoff the battery instead of having to disconnect...
I am not opposed to machinery plates. Just need to call the RRAD on Monday about the SF-97. It might be worth the try, no pain no gain. No it didn't come from Govplanet but a different gov auction house.
No, no SF-97 form in my paperwork. Have to call on Monday and see if maybe that can be done. Just a disposition paperwork saying it belongs to me. Don't know if that will work or not. My local courthouse is not to smart when comes to 'out of the box' projects like this and its a 55 mile trip to...
No, I do not have a title. I bought both at auction this year. All I got is the paperwork form the military at RRAD where I got them from in the auction here in Texas.
New member with the FLU disease. I bought 2 of these things(SEE). Wife said if I even look at another my rear end has had it. So question really is how do you title one in Texas? My local courthouse has no clue about how or what to do. Not really caring about registering and inspecting, just...
