I totally agree that I need to ditch the blocks, PO did that and I had ordered new springs for a proper lift already. Fun thing is they arrived the Thursday before the accident and I was going to replace them that weekend but some old friends from the corps showed up and we partied instead. Come...
Should have said, I somehow lucked out and the frame is fine (says two people with 30+ years exp). Hopefully that inital assessment is correct...
I am also scared about the tc and front shaft... that axle got pushed back a few inches. I do hope the impact didnt do something horrible to my drive...
So a a few weeks ago someone made a left turn when I had the light. I was traveling at about 45 mph before brake application and I struck the other vehicle (a Ford, lol) sustaining damage to the front left side of the truck. I will post picture's in the next post, as they are on my phone. My...
So on Friday, I drove from about the center of Virginia to Boston. Saturday back home to VA, then today to Agusta GA. Total distance traveled is a bit over 2052 (pulling over for fuel adding a bit but negligable). In another thread I had erroneously reported 28mpg. Looking back on the day I did...

Also looks like you painted the grille while it was still attached, did you cover the radiator?
I don't have a garage or a friendly mall garage to use so I'll...

When something gets mandated it becimes more expensive, along with everything its involved it, and the quality goes down.
I digress...
I had a Hyundai Tiburon a while back with bad window regulators, I...
32in at/mt. Was seeing 18-20 mpg with the 37in wrangler 2s.
Also use lucas injection cleaner, dunno if that is helping as well.
I also kinda drive pretty conservatively.
Edit: 6in lift, but otherwise all stock
Ill give it a shot. Figured id do more harm than good trying to clean them up with how old they are.
Worst case, know where to get new ines if it falls apart
It is a 1009, all data plates are intact an I was able to clean the spray paint off with dot4 and brake clean.
These stickers tho, are the most egregious sin. Absolutely lazy...
If I can, I would like to replace. If not... Im not sure if leaving them on in that condition is worth it, would...
