    Happened to have this pop up in feed yesterday. Last year, but they used the same motor setup as you, just fyi in case your controller still wasn’t playing nice.

    Thanks for the updates! I was curious if those motors would be enough. The landscape is changing drastically, I have been considering a similar endeavor, but man the motor controllers get expensive quick for the EV packages. Appreciate you posting the progress and hour thought process.

    Thanks for the reply. No doubt the conversion is way, way more expensive. Seems like there is a lot more motor options out there for lighter cars vs old iron :). Keeping the transmission would certainly help with torque. Completely agree on batteries and hopeful as they become more plentiful...

    Very well done. My nephew recently sent me this thread. After 25 years, we are refreshing the old carryall that has been bouncing around the property. Nephew is the projected heir in a few years. The old girl was a bit of a hack job when we got her and the motor is now shot. He likes the EV...
