Cant find anything about keeping M1008 rear payload + shackle flip= front spring size

Haven't ordered yet. Getting ORD to help me build it to fit 36.5 or 39.5 TSL's. I'll be updating build throughout summer with pic's for everyone's future reference

Cant find anything about keeping M1008 rear payload + shackle flip= front spring size

Looked thru every place I can find. Nothing about keeping stock rear springs and doing max lift with shackle flip + whatever else can be done in the rear for lift etc. Absoulutly no body lift though. Then setting up front end with correct spring height and best steering correction option. I plan...

    M1008 Wire nest

Thanks. Yes it's a 454 now but probably putting a 8100 or 6.2LS in it. I didn't think anyone understood I wanted to go with a civilian set up and add A/C with Dakota gauges but y'all nailed it. I'm keeping the black out lights and running off a toggle switch. If anyone needs the cluster or...

    Best A/C option for M1008 with a 454.

So is this probably the cheapest way to add A/C instead of buying a vintage air kit? Getting the under dash and firewall parts out of a bone yard and running new A/C lines to whatever compressor I mount? Has any one had success with this? I found the underdash stuff and firewall local already...

    M1008 Wire nest

Just started getting into cleaning up all the wiring splicing over the years and it is a mess. Got the dash pad and gauge panel off. Engine compartment is terrible. It has got a 454 motor so no 24v is needed. Should I try and repair the existing harness's and fuse panel or replace the fuse panel...

    Best A/C option for M1008 with a 454.

Just got a 1986 and was trying to figure out best path to adding A/C. The 454 was just rebuilt but when it gives up the ghost I'm probably going with an LS motor. I looked through the forum and didn't see an A/C mod. Any help would be appreciated.
