Dug up a little info…seems like these are also aluminum framed and that side wall is completely removable for configuring with an additional shelter. I thought having that side removable would make for a nice custom slide out possibly.
Anyone have any experience with these particular Gichner Mobile Shelters (GMS 1008B)? I’m curious about material, weight, and if that one side is a removable wall or expandable? I can’t find much info online and the GP posting/data plate pics suck.
Yes it’s a thermistor which senses coolant temp to inhibit the cold start ether system above a certain temperature. Here is the link to one sold for the 3116 which I highly doubt a different part number was used for the 3126. Last I checked several months ago I couldn’t find one in stock but may...
Well dang that would be killer! I live in Hughesville but can meet somewhere along your route North if needed. Also depends on @wheelspinner schedule as well.
Hey @simp5782 just making sure you’ll be going to the rally with a tank? I sent you a message but haven’t heard back. It’s a decent trip for me so just want to make sure before I head out.
It may be possible to modify this program to do the calculations for leaf spring suspension and multiple axles as well. Either way MATLAB is more than capable of this.
MathWorks provides a ton of useful software for engineering like MATLAB which some of you may be familiar with. I happen to have access to it and came across this particular application if anyone would like to know the CG and roll-center height for their modified MVs.
I’m assuming you’re talking about deleting the 5th wheel gladhands since it’s a 1088. If so I’ve done this along with the rear glad hands with no problems. If I’m not mistaken the service and emergency lines angled upward in the center of your pic go to the 5th wheel gladhands. Just remove those...
Worth noting that LiFePO4 batts should not
be charged below freezing. I work with this battery chemistry a lot in HF communication systems and even my charger I have for them has a temp sensor so to inhibit charging when ambient temp is below 32 deg.
Everything that I read beforehand pointed towards the SF97 being the safest and when I called the tag office before purchasing they said yeah won’t be a problem but then I got the reassignment letter and everything changed. Guess I should have just went the title route from the beginning.
They’re so contradicting saying they accept SF97s but not one with a notarized letter transferring it to me (basically a bill of sale). I refuse to believe I’m the first one trying to get a title from a transferred SF97 from Richie Bros. I’m headed back to Maryland today actually so going to...
