    My first m35a1!..i think?

She does have the welded in gussets. But doesn't have the flat inner fenders like yours? Sloped fenders like you mention in the video would be for a multi fuel

    My first m35a1!..i think?

I definitely wish she was more original, but beyond grateful for the setup I got especially what I got her for! Runs great all things considered, just a fair bit of farm rigging to get corrected

    My first m35a1!..i think?

She definitely has a multi fuel transmission then! I've read in a few areas people talking about not wanting to put them into reverse in low gear. Does this just apply to the m35a2's and 3's or do I need to be worried about damage? Drove her all the way home in low for various reasons(tires...

    My first m35a1!..i think?

I am definitely torn on which way to take her. Part of me wants to keep the dump bed and tear it down and rebuild it to more closely resemble what she would have had on her but keep the functionality. The dump bed would be a huge help around the property. I guess I have some time to figure out...

Anywhere in particular they'd usually Stamp it at? I found that one on the driver side by the front wheel

Thank you! She's a little rough now but beyond happy to finally have one of these rigs!

Man I did not expect this many replies this quick, this is awesome! Thank you guys for the feedback and information so far I really appreciate it! I had meant to include the frame stamp in the original set of pictures and missed it

    My first m35a1!..i think?

I'll get some more pictures up later this week or this next weekend! The throttle linkage is a little rigged up, will need some work but it functions! One of the mounts is a wood block and return spring is currently rigged up over to the air compressor.. I need to do some research and see how I...

Did Memphis typically do the front fenders like that?? There's a ton of bondo work done on the fenders to tie in those added rounded out outer plates, looking forward to busting all of that off and getting back to the original style fenders..

    My first m35a1!..i think?

Anywhere else I could check for numbers to ID if it was an earlier truck? Going to post frame stamp after replies I definitely want to keep the reo and think goal will be to do super single and more along lines of an m34.

    My first m35a1!..i think?

Thank you! And hadn't thought about that, would make some sense though on that end. Or maybe motor swap where they went from multifuel back to a gasser for whatever reason?

    My first m35a1!..i think?

Did the gas and multifuel have different shift patterns? It's definitely the shift pattern shown on the data plate

    My first m35a1!..i think?

She runs great, was a pretty smooth drive getting her home! Short of brakes not grabbing real well.. got them bled and pedal engages but brakes dont seem to actually be doing much. going to have to open a couple drums at some point and see if they need pads or just need adjustment.

    My first m35a1!..i think?

As far as they knew back she spent alot of her life as a water truck at Salt Lake airport. Was sold to someone here in the same small town I live in in 1998, they're the ones that put the hydraulic dump bed on her. The family sold at auction in 2019 i believe, when the fathers property sold...

    My first m35a1!..i think?

Glad to be able to finally post my own rig here and be a part of the forum! I'm pretty sure she's a reo, it has gold comet casted on the exhaust manifold unless that would have been able to transfer to the Ford in the change out? Will definitely get more pictures posted of those areas later...

    My first m35a1!..i think?

Thank you! I know she's not much to look at now, but excited to get tearing into her and get the project rolling. May take a few years to make it happen but going to be a fun one

    My first m35a1!..i think?

Thank you! Ya that was the plan to go the super single route. May be a bit before I can swing putting tires on her, but guessing 11x20's would be the way to go for her? The frame serial I think says 67? Going to post pictures of the serial on the frame further down In the thread, sorry screwed...

    My first m35a1!..i think?

Have been following this site for a long time and have wanted a deuce for a lot of years but never could afford to get into one. Finally had one fall in my lap for next to nothing! Found her back in amish country here in Montana, after a long 82 mph back road drive at 25mph max on shotty tires...
