I have 24v at the #27 wire. I noticed today the wait lamp flickered for a split second when the switch turned to run. I’ll have to get someone to help me with checking volts on a glow plug wire when the switch turned on. I’m thinking the start box is bad.

Wait light isn’t coming on. The screws are seized. Is there an easy way to test to see if the bulb is bad or if there is a more serious issue? The truck is still starting and running fine.

Yea I can do 65 all day but I totally agree. It’s scary as hell. Sounds like the damn thing is gonna throw a rod at any given moment.

I think it would be a good option for the tunnel and floorboards. I have also considered using it to make door panels. Still have to do something on the doghouse and tunnel sides that will hug contours so it may not be a good option.
Has anyone ever considered using seadek boat foam for flooring? I think it would be a good option to help with sound and it is pretty durable and looks cool as well. I have never used it so don’t really know.

Nice rig! You’ve done an awesome job. I’m planning to put a 4 speed in my 1097r1. I can barely get to 55 with 3 speed. Is yours stock 4 speed and can do 70 comfortably? I only ask because I figured just swapping the trans might not help enough to cruise at hwy speeds.

Just finished assembling PlanB top, doors, and bumper on my 06’ 1097r1. Passed inspection and got tags. I live outside of town and speed limit is 55 to go anywhere and the 3 speed sucks at over 45 as you all know. Will just swapping to a 4 speed help much for my commute to town or should I just...
I have a m1097 2 man that I am planning to convert to 4 man. I am thinking that I could save a few bucks by getting a hard top kit and mounting soft doors. However I cannot find any combo kits with hard top and soft doors so I figure there must be a reason for that. Does anybody have experience...
Thank you. If there is another post you can guide me too that deals with fitment of soft doors with hard top I would appreciate that. Otherwise I think I will start a new thread on the subject.
Are there fitment issues with hard aluminum top and soft doors. I see lots of lots with hard too and doors and soft too and doors but no soft doors with hard top.
